Like a moth to the flame, we were enamored with this feisty winged... well, moth (or stylized butterfly, your pick). He's an antique who's been recently rehabilitated. Made of sterling silver and gold and backed entirely by 18 karat yellow gold, he has six round cut blue sapphires at the tips of his forewings, sapphires for eyes and on his thorax, and two round rubies at the tips of his hindwings. The body of the wings are set with rose cut diamonds and the abdomen with gray pearls. This butterfly is not a brooch but a pendant and there's a bail for a chain between his antennae.
