Antique earrings are one of the hardest things to find—think about it, TWO of them have to survive for decades—sometimes centuries—and reach us in good enough condition to either be sold or refurbished for sale.
That being said, these late Victorian earrings are a real treasure. Made of 19 karat yellow gold, each of these earrings holds a pendant centered with a bezel set oval peridot surrounded by a halo of precious seed pearls. Each of the oval pendants is crowned by a pearl studded rectangle that fastens to the ear with an ear wire and hooked catch.
These earrings are fabulous pieces of wearable historical art.
