Made for a faceted oval stone, this ring was inspired by an Art Deco original. The central stone is held in place by a distinctive combination of settings: half-bezels to the east and west, prongs to the north and south, with two more pairs of stepped half-bezels flanking the stone on either side. The shank narrows and curves gracefully, keeping the focus on the gem.

Our original was made for a 7.5 x 6.5 mm oval stone, and true to the era it references, the setting favors clean lines and repetition over ornament, letting the stepped metalwork do the talking.

We can recreate this design in the metal and stone of your choosing. If you have a particular gem or finish in mind, let us know and we'll build it to match.

How to Wear with Care

Jewelry is meant to be worn, but it's also an expensive ornament. Here are a few suggestions to extend the life of your jewelry:

  • We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or another trusted jeweler every six months.
  • You should remove your rings before swimming or performing any household cleaning, as harsh chemicals can interact with precious metals and permanently damage some stones.
  • Generally, we suggest that you do not wear your jewelry to the gym, in the shower, at the pool, or while sleeping.

We do not sell what we cannot service. Should an issue arise, please get in touch. We offer an extensive range of repair services and are here to help!
