The 6.50 carat garnet in this diamond accented solitaire has an enchanting and mysterious quality about it. It's cut as a buff top, which means that the top of the stone curves up to a smooth dome (like a cabochon) but the bottom is faceted. This combination of surfaces adds a depth to the stone that can't be achieved with a traditional cabochon cut alone.

The garnet is bezel set in warm 14 karat yellow gold, which beautifully complements its deep rosey color and it's accented by 12 round brilliant diamonds. The bezel has an open side profile, which lets in enough light to showcase the garnet's red hue.
