The Etruscan revival period of the late 1800s was inspired by the findings of archaeological digs in and around Rome. The Etruscans inhabited the area before the Romans did! The ancient jewelry being found was marked by gold granulation, filigree, and classical cultural themes.
These Etruscan revival earrings were likely made at the tail of the 19th century and have a group of gold tassels suspended from a floral themed gold finial. The tassel and finial are suspended from a half sphere that's engraved with the image of a flower. Each of these tassels was made by hand and they're designed to blithely move with the wearer's head. They're in excellent condition.
