Macle diamonds come out of the earth oddly shaped, flat, and generally full of salt and pepper. Centuries ago, Moghul Emperors used macle diamonds in jewelry... and these stones continue to charm us!

This ring has an apple-shaped macle diamond at its center that measures 5.5mm x 6mm. Three additional small salt-and-pepper diamonds are set into each side of the ring's shoulders. A handsome mix of oxidized sterling silver and gold-over-sterling, the contrast between the deep gray and rich gold is enchanting.
