Made of 14k yellow gold, a 7mm cream colored pearl is enveloped by a collection of prong set baguette and channel set round brilliant diamonds. To our eye, the baguettes make the pearl look like a stylized rising (or setting) sun.
The bypass style, where both sides of the ring literally bypass each other and never meet, is a classic design that was popularized in the 1800s.
