A beautiful, rich, natural red garnet (0.50ct) is prong set in the center of this twisting, rope style ring. Likely made at some point in the middle of the 20th century, this piece is both interesting and charming!
Garnet is both the birthstone for January and the traditional gift in the celebration the 2nd wedding anniversary. Historically, it meant a number of things to a number of cultures, including that it could cure depression, protect against bad dreams, and relieve diseases of the liver.
