Marquise cut diamonds are in the middle of a resurgence! Though they're typically set with the points facing up-and-down, they're almost always more visually interesting when they're set horizontally, with the points side-to-side.
This mounting, with the stone set horizontally, is made of 14K white gold and has a handsome, hand applied brushed finish. Its centerpiece is a 0.91ct marquise cut diamond with a faint color, barely perceptible to the naked eye. With the stone set this way, it wears like a band and has an elegant physical presence on the hand. Underneath the central diamond are three pinpoint hidden diamonds, giving a bit of dazzle to an oft-ignored angle.
