When you picture an "Art Deco" engagement ring, one or two different visions probably pop into your head. At least one of those visions surely resembles this ring.
At the center of this 18K white gold ring is a 5mm European Cut diamond (weighing at least half a carat), held in place with four prongs and set into a floating plate gently separated from the rest of the ring. Underneath the center stone is a beautifully crisp filigree pattern and two deep baguette sapphires embellish the ring's shoulders.
Stamped inside of the band is "BELAIS 18K." Belais was among the first goldsmiths to alloy 18K white gold. In fact, his alloy was granted a patent in 1920! To encourageĀ retailersĀ to buy his pieces, he created the slogan "Belais Made Means Well Made." Considering the shape this ring is in nearly 100 years after its creation, we have to agree!

How to Wear with Care
Jewelry is meant to be worn, but it's also an expensive ornament. Here are a few suggestions to extend the life of your jewelry:
- We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or another trusted jeweler every six months.
- You should remove your rings before swimming or performing any household cleaning, as harsh chemicals can interact with precious metals and permanently damage some stones.
- Generally, we suggest that you do not wear your jewelry to the gym, in the shower, at the pool, or while sleeping.
We do not sell what we cannot service. Should an issue arise, please get in touch. We offer an extensive range of repair services and are here to help!
