This beautiful carving, done crisply in shell, is framed by an Art Deco embellished vermeil (gold over silver) frame. Tiny seed pearls accent the top and bottom points of the carving. The back has a safety clasp, where the pin is held in place by tension and secured with a rolling metal bit, and a hidden bail sits at the top -- enabling the piece to be worn on a chain as a necklace.
