This lovely antique cameo features a portrait of the goddess Diana, complete with crescent moon on her head, carved in shell.
The setting is made of 10 karat yellow gold (stamped G.H. 10K). It features two layers of gold wire work, the innermost is extraordinarily delicate while the outermost is more substantial. Each of the compass points is accented by a small pearl.
The brooch fastens with a C-clasp and features a retractable bail that allows it to be worn as a pendant, suspended from a chain.
