These earrings are such a special find.
Made sometime in the 18th century, they're made of yellow gold and sterling silver and hold an absolutely charming collection of hand cut Old Mine and rose cut diamonds. They fasten to the ear with wire that latches into a safety hook.
It cannot be overstated just how remarkable a piece of history these are. In the past 15 years, this is only the second or third pair of actually Georgian earrings we've been able to offer for sale.
- Metal: Sterling Silver & Gold
- Main Stones: 4 Old Mine Cut Diamonds (3.6 - 4.2 mm)
- Accent Stones: 28 Rose Cut Diamonds
When visible, the Virtual Try-on button (located above the Add to Cart button) allows you to try on rings, bangles, and earrings using just your phone or computer. Other pieces—such as necklaces and brooches—are not eligible.
We do our best to make sure that scale is accurate. If the piece you're trying on has a width or length listed, the try-on experience will be as accurate as possible. Please note that the female models in the stock photos wear a size 7 ring and the gents a size 10.
Jewelry is meant to be worn but it's also an expensive ornament. Here are a few suggestions to extend the life of your jewelry:
- We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or another trusted jeweler every six months.
- You should remove your rings before swimming or performing any household cleaning, as harsh chemicals can interact with precious metals and permanently damage some stones.
- Generally, we suggest that you do not wear your jewelry to the gym, in the shower, at the pool, or while sleeping.
We do not believe in selling something we cannot service. Should an issue arise, please get in touch. We offer an extensive range of repair services and are here to help!
