Nugget jewelry is designed to resemble the form of natural gold nuggets. It became popular in the American gold rush of 1848 and has had multiple resurgences in popularity since, including in the 1980s.
This ring is unusual in that it's made of white gold, not yellow. It also contains 11 round brilliant diamonds which are held in place by the nugget's naturalistic collection of ridges and crags.
