An old diamond with a new home!
The center is an approximately 0.76 carat Old European Cut diamond, K color and SI2 clarity. Old European cuts are the round, hand-cut ancestor of the modern brilliant, with a higher crown, a smaller table and big, chunky flashes of light. This one has a soft touch of warmth that looks lovely against the white of the platinum.
The setting is contemporary, made of platinum in the Art Deco style. Four prongs hold the diamond inside a raised square frame with polished, faceted corners. On either side, milgrain-edged ribbons loop around little open windows, a bit like a pair of belt buckles. Twenty-eight round brilliant diamonds, approximately 0.14 carat total, are bead set across the top, bottom and sides.

Wearing it with care
Jewelry is meant to be worn, but it's also an expensive ornament. Here are a few suggestions to extend the life of your jewelry:
- We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or another trusted jeweler every six months.
- You should remove your rings before swimming or performing any household cleaning, as harsh chemicals can interact with precious metals and permanently damage some stones.
- Generally, we suggest that you do not wear your jewelry to the gym, in the shower, at the pool, or while sleeping.
We do not sell what we cannot service. Should an issue arise, please get in touch. We offer an extensive range of repair services and are here to help!
