This strangely cut amethyst has the profile of an elongated cushion cut but its crown only has three rectangular facets. Set in an unusual 14 karat yellow gold mounting, each of the ring's shoulders is accented by four single cut diamonds bright set in white gold. This is a real conversation piece and should appeal to any lover of vintage jewelry who also has an affinity for purple!
