Some designs don't need improving. This antique wedding band was made in 1908, during the final years of the Edwardian era, and its generous 8.5mm width and softly domed profile have the solid, confident feel of a ring made to last a lifetime. It already has.

Crafted in 9K rose gold, the band glows with the warm, coppery blush that British jewelers of the period loved. Inside, a crisp set of English hallmarks tells its story: the “SH” maker’s mark of Birmingham jeweler Samuel Hope, the "9 .375" gold standard, the anchor of the Birmingham Assay Office, and the date letter for 1908. More than a century of wear has softened the polish into a gentle patina that only an authentic antique has.

Wide enough to read as a bold men’s wedding band, it works just as well as an everyday statement ring or a meaningful stacking piece for anyone who appreciates jewelry with real history.

Wearing it with care

Jewelry is meant to be worn, but it's also an expensive ornament. Here are a few suggestions to extend the life of your jewelry:

  • We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or another trusted jeweler every six months.
  • You should remove your rings before swimming or performing any household cleaning, as harsh chemicals can interact with precious metals and permanently damage some stones.
  • Generally, we suggest that you do not wear your jewelry to the gym, in the shower, at the pool, or while sleeping.

We do not sell what we cannot service. Should an issue arise, please get in touch. We offer an extensive range of repair services and are here to help!
