This ring has a quiet second-life story. It began as an unfinished mounting, a piece of new old stock that sat for years with nothing but pilot holes marking where diamonds were meant to go. The engraving and milgrain were already there; it was simply waiting. Our setter brought it to life, hand-cutting each seat and setting the stones to complete a design that had been on pause for decades.

The result is a long, elegant navette in the Art Deco tradition. A white gold plaque stretches north to south along the finger, its stepped, architectural silhouette built from interlocking hexagons and triangular openwork windows, framed by beveled, high-polish edges that catch light like cut glass.

Eleven round brilliant-cut diamonds are arranged in a balanced, symmetrical pattern, led by a bright center stone and accented by smaller diamonds tucked into each corner. Every stone sits in a crisp milgrain-edged setting that traces the full outline of the design.

Engraved shoulders carry leaf and floral motifs into a warm yellow gold shank, with an openwork gallery beneath. It’s a striking diamond cocktail ring or a one-of-a-kind vintage engagement ring alternative, part original craftsmanship and part modern hands.
