Likely made in the 1940s, this 14K white gold ring has an elevated crown upon which a plate of diamonds is nestled. At the center of the plate is a 2mm (0.03ct) round brilliant diamond and six additional 1mm diamonds (0.03tcw) encircle the larger stone.
The metal around the diamonds is carved, making it intentionally difficult to see where the metal ends and the diamonds begin. The entire piece looks like a cohesive, sparkling single stone.
