This stunning ring was made by the Wolcott Mfg. Co, a jewelry maker based in Providence, RI from 1906-1922. The center stone is a large natural, cushion cut amethyst that's bezel set in yellow gold and framed by a collection of seed pearls. Each of the stone's compass points is embellished by a floral motif. While the shoulders of the ring have groups of three green enamel leaves, the north-south sides of the stone have an enamel rosette. The band has a pattern of engraved chevrons that are bisected by a black enamel stem.

Some pieces transcend being categorized merely as jewelry and are, in fact, art. This ring is among them.

Jewelry is meant to be worn, but it's also an expensive ornament. Here are a few helpful suggestions to extend the life of your jewelry:

  • We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or your trusted local jeweler every six months.
  • You should remove your rings before swimming or performing any household cleaning, as harsh chemicals can interact with precious metals and permanently damage some stones.
  • Generally, we suggest that you do not wear your jewelry to the gym, in the shower, or while sleeping.

We do not believe in selling something we cannot service. Should an issue arise, please get in touch. We offer an extensive range of repair services and are here to help!
